Connie Jeanne & Clyde Larsen

Dear Friends -

We both have celebrated our 50th Anniversary this year.  And - it is almost that long that we have been closely connected.  Our children have grown up together.  They attended the same schools - Lowell EQUIP, South High ELP, and West High ELP/IB.  We made some incredible memories as we progressed together to make all of this happen.

Lorna, you are such a stalwart.  You have been ever ready to help in every situation.  I value your friendship and your many talents.   You have the ability to search out answers and then work tirelessly until the task is completed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family - forever!

Best wishes - Clyde and Connie Jeanne Larsen

We have a lot of fond memories of the two of you, being your home teacher, being with you in the ward, and all your phone calls letting us know about people in the ward. We cherish our activities with you and your sweet family, all the good you have done for everyone in the ward, and your fine example of a loving family. Fifty years went by fast, didn't it? We love you! Happy 50 years together, Tpm

I am so happy for you!!

I have always been impressed with how dedicated you are to the gospel and in helping others. Your children have been a great example of the parents that raised them and the love the family shares.

I loved being your visiting teacher for those many years and knew I could trust you to do anything that was asked. You have been a great example of love to your fellow man, neighbors and friends.

I hope you have many more wonderful years together. Love you both!!

Lorna and Glen have been stalwarts of our ward and neighborhood as long as we have been here (20 years). They work quietly in the background, never looking for notice or acclaim, just making sure people get the help they need. They are the best neighbors. I love their wedding picture! And here they still are, 50 years later! That’s an Accomplishment!

Brother and sister Landon are a true example of love, respect and commitment.  I have known the Landon's for more than fourteen years and have seen the integrity of each one of them as well as the compassionate way they serve the Lord and others.  I love to see them every Sunday and listen to the story of their journey as a couple and family.  Wishing them an eternity of love ❤️ ðŸ’•!!  Congratulations for an amazing and inspiring milestone!!"

Glen and Lorna have, for 34 years, been an example to me and my family of faithful devoted service to the Kingdom of God.  I have learned how to minister by watching them serve others. We are very grateful to have known them. Happy 50th Anniversary.

HAPPY, WONDERFUL, SPLENDID ANNIVERSARY to YOU  GLEN and LORNA LANDON!

I think it is time to do some celebrating! Why, with all of those 50 years of togetherness,  experiencing life together, and creating a wonderful family. I am sure that there have been ups and down, laughter, hard work, and some tears. That is part of the whole journey together. Yet you are together and have more things to experience together. I hope you take some time to enjoy each other on this your 50 Anniversary.  Actually I suggest you celebrate for more than a day, do a few things throughout the week, enjoy some time together. It is safe to say you may have to plan the time so it can happen! Block it out, and let some other things go!!

I loved seeing the pictures of your wedding as I received the invitation to this virtual celebration! A fine looking couple with a whole future ahead. In may ways there is still a future ahead.

I know for my family that my Oma enjoyed having your kids visit her. My mom would fill me in, and tell me about the joy associated with the visits. I was in college at that time those visits were happening and on my mission.

Something else I remember,  is being the YW Camp Leader for our ward and Lisa was a new Beehive that year. Just think, she survived me. I also remember getting the new Beehives to go snipe hunting. Sure enough they believed us. It was a good laugh, along with a good adventure, that took place above Ogden in the canyon. We were at a more primitive camp that year.

We have met in the ward house on Redwood Road, and upon my return to Utah, the building here on Starcrest and 9th North. The thing that has stayed the same is your love for the gospel and your willingness to take part in the ward. A gift.

To you, may there be joy and happiness in your hearts and in your living!

Happy 50th!

Totally amazing!
