A golden wedding anniversary, how wonderful. An amazing couple to celebrate years of mortal existence together. So very proud of your faithful life, your children and your service to the Lord.

Memories of you two remind me of the willingness you both have given to respond to callings in the Center Ward and in the Stake.  Glen’s service in at least six Bishoprics and Lorna’s very sacred call to the position of 1st Counselor in the Stake Primary with Sister Stevens.

Congratulations also for raising intelligent faithful children who have remained lovingly loyal to you and to the Lord.

Thank you also for supporting me as Stake President.  I could always count on you two sitting up close in Stake Conference, taking notes and listening with emotional responses.

Again congratulations and well done you steady servants of the Lord.
