Congratulations Glen and Lorna on occasion of your 50th Wedding Anniversary! What a remarkable and wonderful accomplishment - and what an amazing family!

For more than forty years our families have been inextricably connected together. I just wish that my parents were still with us as they would have so much more to say, and so many more stories to share, than what I am able to express to you in these few words. My mother loved you Lorna like her own sister. The two of you were always together - whether visiting on the telephone, carpooling us kids to school, organizing countless outings together with our combined families, or at Scouting and Church activities. My Mom didn't have family close by - but she always had you, and knew that she could call on you for anything . . . even just to talk. And the years that my Dad spent serving with Glen and Bishop Don Whitehead in the bishopric of the Center Ward - experiences that evolved into a deep and genuine friendship between my Dad and Glen that endured many years.

I am so grateful for the blessing of the Landon family in my life and in the life of my family. You've always cared about my family, and about me as a person. Thank you for your combined examples of faith, family, education, service, and hard work.
